Discover the joys of traditional family-style Greek cooking! This 5-6 hours private hands-on Greek culinary class, will teach you all about the Greece’s traditional cooking methods and its distinctive culinary heritage. The educational culinary experience includes a trip to the local market where you will learn about healthy Mediterranean ingredients and what they are used for. You will also be given a demonstration on how to prepare some of the best authentic, homemade family Greek recipes.
Meet Anna at Ampelokipi metro station, (3 metro stops from Syntagma on the blue line). You will then shop at a local street market to buy healthy organic greens, fish and meats etc(depends on the menu) which will be used in your dishes before being invited to your Anna’s well-equipped kitchen to prepare a 5-course menu from start to finish. Anna will share with you some of the secrets behind her grandma’s delicious recipes and you will cook authentic Greek dishes such as tzatziki or fava (tasty appetizers), bean salad, or perhaps a Greek salad or green salad, mousaka, fish & gemista (vegetables stuffed with rice and herbs, or with meat and rice in lemon sauce). After creating your delicious Greek food on a pleasant culinary lesson you will sit down to relax to enjoy your meal over a glass of local Greek fine wine.

The ‘Local Market Visit and Greek Culinary Class with Anna’ takes place on Thursdays and Saturdays, at 8.30 am and 2:30 pm throughout the year.
