Learn how to make the best Greek salad!

The Greek salad is a simple but delicious staple dish of Greek cuisine. Whether it is eaten as an appetizer, a main, or a side dish, it is sure to be found on every dining table throughout Greece!

Ingredients (Serves two):

  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1/4 green bell pepper (optional)
  • 12 olives
  • 120gr feta

To garnish:

3 generous tablespoons of olive oil (even more if you want to dip bread in the remaining juices)
Dried oregano (optional)

Method:

  1. Wash the vegetables
  2. Chop or slice the vegetables (use your favorite cutting technique)
  3. Place the vegetables into a large serving bowl and top with the feta
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with some dried oregano
