The Greek salad is a simple but delicious staple dish of Greek cuisine. Whether it is eaten as an appetizer, a main, or a side dish, it is sure to be found on every dining table throughout Greece!
Ingredients (Serves two):
2 large tomatoes
1 large cucumber
1/2 red onion
1/4 green bell pepper (optional)
3 generous tablespoons of olive oil (even more if you want to dip bread in the remaining juices)
Dried oregano (optional)
- Wash the vegetables
- Chop or slice the vegetables (use your favorite cutting technique)
- Place the vegetables into a large serving bowl and top with the feta
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with some dried oregano
